5 Hour Trip – NearshoreWe had an absolutely incredible day on the water with Captain Ryan! My family was down on vacation and 3 of us took a trip with him and we caught so many fish! Ryan was hands down the best captain we’ve ever had. He was knowledgeable, fun, and made sure we were on the fish at all times. He kept us in the action and made the whole day a blast. He supplied all the fishing equipment, bait and tackle and we just showed up ready to embark. We even took home our catches already filleted by Ryan and ready to enjoy. My family loved it so much they were already discussing another booking on our way to the car. We can’t wait to book another trip with him!

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore • 3 adultsCaptain Ryan is the best, he is friendly, helpful, informative and a true professional! He put us on fish fast and consistently!! He was super helpful for the first time angler we had and made the whole trip fun for us. He provided all of the drinks and even had sunblock that he offered. We had a ton of bait ready to go and plenty of rods & combos set up to fish all sorts of species. I will never use anyone else in Sarasota other than Captain Ryan. He made the whole trip for us, thanks Ryan, I cant wait to see you on the next trip out!!

5 Hour Trip – Nearshore • 5 adults • 2 childrenWe booked a 5 hour near shore trip with Ryan while on family vacation at Siesta Key. From the time we showed up at the boat launch, until we walked away with a nice bag of filets, Ryan had everything covered. If you have young kids (ours are 14, 10, and 9), Ryan has the the temperant and patience to make sure they have a great time and catch something. Overall, this was an excellent eperience and we got to take home dinner as well!

4 Hour Trip – Inshore • 6 adults • 4 childrenCaptain Ryan did a fantastic job assisting in a great family experience! My son daughter and myself went out with Ryan for the 1st time today but wont be the last. I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants a captain who will work hard to get you on fish and have fun doing so. We were on a 4 hr inshore and caught tons of fish to include Sheeps heads, snapper, sea bass, trout, flounder, tons of grouper & lady fish. We went home with great table fair and tons of good memories. His boat was nice, comfortable and well stocked with what we needed. Ryan was fun to share fishing stories with!

Nearshore is doing well

We have been lucky lately and our seas have been flat which is giving us the chance to get off shore some in these bay boats. Bottom fishing out to 10 miles has been excellent and we have been bringing nice catches back to the dock. We have also been catching some nice big grouper in the 40-50 feet of water. Mostly using cut bait , squid and some shrimp at times. We are still using some shrimp hoping to get a hog fish keeper but for the most part, the bigger hog fish have moved out deeper with the rising water temps.

8 year old with a nice Cobia

Had a great inshore trip with Stephen Rebout and his family out of Sarasota this morning. Kids were new to fishing so we mostly worked on technique and catching some trout on shrimp. Later Stephens 8 year old son thought it would be a good idea to land a very nice cobia on a swimbait over the grass. Great job by these guys and I hope to see you again.

Inshore heating up

Fishing in Sarasota Bay has been great all week. The cold weather did not slow them too much. Sheepshead, trout and redfish have been good on my boat. We have been using a mix of artificial and live bait for all species.
