We enjoyed our evening out for the Forth with Captain Greg and first mate Hunter. Definitely will be returning in the colder seasons to catch some king mackerel!

We couldn’t have picked a better day to go fishing! The sun was out and shining bright, making the waters crystal clear for Captain Weaver and Ricky to spot the fish for us. Diary we trolled for ribbon fish, which my son loved and caught 90% of the ribbon fish. Then the crew were able to spot drums, a whole school of them that were chasing a flounder. It was a pretty cool sight to see!! I would highly recommend Captain weaver and his crew!!

So our group went out on Captain Greg’s boat and had a blast! All of us are novice fishermen so we didn’t know anything as to what we were doing.

Ricky, Captain Greg’s sidekick was really good at teaching everyone how to use the equipment, showing us techniques to reel the fish in, and answering our questions. All in all it was a great day!!

On a side note: we initially wanted the 10 hour trip going 70 miles out from shore, but due to safety concerns we were told that it was best to reschedule; which we really couldn’t do anytime soon. However Captain Greg worked with us and instead took us on the 6 hour trip which is closer to shore and probably best for novices like ourselves as we really didn’t think that fishing would be as strenuous as it was; it suffices to say that we were all knocked out by the time we got home and laid in our beds.

Thank you Ricky and Captain James for the trip and putting up with us 😂 We will be booking another trip with you guys sometime in the future!

Captain Greg and Mate Hunter were 1st class. The boat is fantastic and clean. We had an excellent experience!

It was my family’s first time chartering a fishing boat. It was a great time. The crew was great with kids. Will do it again.
