WOW, is all I can really say for today's trip, first picked up some ribbonfish and a few spanish mackerel then went off the beach some because another boat saw some drum and thats when we ran across a Turtle with two Cobia on it, casted and hooked up to a 44 incher and put itin the cooler then we found the schools of drum and proceeded to hammer on them for over 2 hours catching well over 20, what an awesome day for this group.

Best fishing experience I’ve had ever on a charter hands down we absolutely smashed them. Hunter the first mate was awesome and man knows how to run a boat as a first mate.hitting quad hook ups after quads. Will definitely book again and 1000% recommend

The trip was very good. The captain and his helper were great. The only thing that didn’t like was the ‘MANDATORY’ and MINIMUM tip for the helper of $150. That made me feel pretty uncomfortable because I had no idea that there was a mandatory fee. The web site didn’t say anything about it and if it said it, I didn’t see it. In other hand it suppose that the tip is something voluntary given by the client. Even if I was going to give a tip to the helper anyways because he did a great job... More

Hi Ricardo, yes, customary tip is 20% . The mate works very hard for the customers and works for tips only. We also on all trips clean, filet and bag all your fish free of charge. Most all the other boats use a local fish cleaner and that’s above and beyond tip. As a good business owner I look out for my mates income and always mention a 20% tip, if you read into that wrong or I didn’t word it right I do apologize. Captains dislike watching their mate work for 6 hours and then get slipped $30.00 and a pat on the back, how would you feel about that scenario ? They work hard and have adult bills just like all adults do. If I at least do my part to mention mates tip, it’s only because I appreciate and value my mates hard work, I’m not sure where you came up with ” MANDATORY ” But I do remember a bit of a language barrier between us. Thank you for joining us, if you give me a call, I will personally give you some money back but not out of my mates pocket.

Water was choppy due to winds yet we still caught fish, just not as many as is normal for the Captain and First Mate. Captain Greg thought safety was first and we headed in an hour early due to five foot waves. The experience was given a 4 because of nature and rough ocean, the Captain and Hunter did all they could to make the trip a success.
