Thanks for the feedback Adel, and for bringing up an important issue about our afternoon 1/2 day trips.  The majority of the time its too windy to fish offshore on our afternoon 1/2 day trips, so we are limited to fishing San Diego Bay. 
The Bay is a great fishery but is best to fish during a strong incoming or outgoing tide.  During slack tides, like we experienced with Adel’s group, the bite can shut off until the tide starts moving again.  For this particular trip we did everything we could to get the guys on fish but the fish just didn’t want to bite. Unfortunately, that’s one thing we can’t control.  After a couple hours with only 1 fish caught I offered to take them back early and charge them an hourly rate for the time we spent fishing and we could reschedule for a morning 1/2 day at a future time, which they agreed would be their best option.
