My cousin and I wanted to get on some Spanish. Cap. Brad put us right on them, and we couldn’t keep the lines in the water. Even after the morning slowed down, we kept having fun. We moved around and followed the fish. Once we had our limit, we moved inshore for the rest of the charter. Still on fish, and still Brad was teaching my cousin who had never done that type of fishing. Highly recommend Brad and his charters. Great day!

Captain Brad was absolutely amazing! I chose this trip as my mom does not do well with waves and motion on boats usually and captain was amazing! My mom and everyone on board had an amazing day and we’re very comfortable! He made sure to put us on the fish while also showing us a great time and was a good time to hang out with overall! I would highly recommend anyone looking to get out and see sights and do some fishing to use him! Even if you are unsure of boats this is your guy! I will definitely be back and use him again! We had a really good experience with Captain Brad with Shallotte Outdoors Fishing Charters.  We did a 4 hour trip starting at 6am.  Captain Brad knew all the ins and outs of the Shallotte River backwater and put us on some great spots.  Unfortunately the target species speckled trout and redfish were not around on the day we went but we did catch a few flounder and croaker.  And I caught a totally unexpected surprise, my first ever Jack Crevelle (pictured above).  Captain Brad was excellent at keeping our hooks baited with live shrimp and mullet and he was also very friendly and enjoyable to talk to.  I would highly recommend Shallotte Outdoors Fishing Charters!

Everything was great, except we really didn’t catch many fish. It certainly was no fault of Capt.Brad. We moved around and fished as many as 6 or 7 spots but fish didn’t cooperate. Recent cokd front put a damper on catching fish. Did manage about 5 flounder, 4 were keeper size, 2 were as big as 5.0#....a couple of blowfish,pigfish and pinfish. Sometimes the fish don’t cooperate but Capt. Brad wax great and had alot of laughs. The groom, my son, caught the two big flounder….was happy for him. Thanks Capt….

My grandpa and I had a really great experience with Brad. The fishing was a little slower than he or we would’ve liked but Brad hammered it trying to find the fish for us. He put us in many great situations, fishing drainages/creeks, ledges and structure all while feeling like we spent as much time fishing as possible and not just cruising around. Even on a slow day the two of us put enough fish away to feed the whole family for dinner and had a great time doing it. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.
