- I was born in Louisiana and raised on tugboats. I started fishing and driving boats from a very young age with my grandfather who taught me most of what I know. So I was raised on the water and I've been going out into the Gulf for the past 25 years. When I was a young teen I moved to Destin and started working on sport fishing boats as a deckhand and learning to drive those. I have been driving a center console for the past three years and have really enjoyed it. I love seeing the enjoyment on people's faces when I take them out fishing. I am so thankful for being able to fish all the time and, most of all, doing something that I love and am very passionate about every day! I have spent two years rebuilding my boat and now have two 150 HP Yamaha outboard engines with a Minkota Terrova trolling motor for the best fishing experience.
