  tough fishing, nice guys

  8 Hour Trip – Daytime Swordfish on March 30, 2026 • 2 adults • 1 child

  we tried trolling for about 3 hours, and the captain worked hard to find anything biting. no hits and my son was getting bored so i asked to reef fish or something else easier even if the fish were smaller. they happily pivoted and tried this but seemed to not have a real back up plan for trolling. we caught 1 grouper about 6 inches. it would have been fun for us to have a better backup plan and allow my son to fish himself rather than them setting on a small bait rod and handing to him. They really wanted to help us have a great time but my spanish is poor and they didn't speak english so we struggled to align on what we were hoping for.

  very helpful and friendly guys and all the kit u neeed went above and beyond to make my trip go as well as it could sadly we never caught a big fish only a small tuna to save the blank but top guys
