Depending on the time of year, you might hook into Mahi Mahi, Blue Marlin, Swordfish, Wahoo, Great Barracuda, Skipjack, Blackfin Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Albacore Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Caribbean Queen Snapper, Sailfish, and plenty more. On these trips, it's common to troll and bottom fish using light or heavy tackle.
Thinking of bringing the whole family? Kids are absolutely welcome! Children must wear life vests, so find out if the appropriate size is available on board. You're welcome to bring snacks so that nobody gets grumpy on an empty stomach!
You'll be fishing aboard a 26' Strike center console with space for 2 passengers. It has outriggers, downriggers, and all the essentials. There's a toilet on board for your convenience. Capt. Pedro will provide rods and reels for you, as well as lures. Live bait is on offer, but be sure to ask about it so you know if you'll be catching it yourself.
There will be a First Mate on board to help your trip run smoothly. Mates often work for tips and it's customary to offer them a 10–20% tip.
Your fishing license for the day is covered by the charter boat, so all you have to do is look forward to your trip! Some fish have special regulations, including when you can keep them. Simply ask and your captain can tell you more.
It's always wise to bring a hat, sunglasses, and sunblock (non-spray). There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, so long as you avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles. There will be some light snacks available on board.

we tried trolling for about 3 hours, and the captain worked hard to find anything biting. no hits and my son was getting bored so i asked to reef fish or something else easier even if the fish were smaller. they happily pivoted and tried this but seemed to not have a real back up plan for trolling. we caught 1 grouper about 6 inches. it would have been fun for us to have a better backup plan and allow my son to fish himself rather than them setting on a small bait rod and handing to him. They really wanted to help us have a great time but my spanish is poor and they didn't speak english so we struggled to align on what we were hoping for.
very helpful and friendly guys and all the kit u neeed went above and beyond to make my trip go as well as it could sadly we never caught a big fish only a small tuna to save the blank but top guys
