Background: I grew up fishing Galveston Bay, and it’s been a big part of my life ever since. Most of my trips focus on speckled trout using artificial lures, often wade fishing the flats and shorelines. Mornings on the bay are hard to beat—watching the sun come up, the water calm, and everything slowly waking up feels like starting the day with a blank canvas. I keep things relaxed and easy, always happy to help with artificial baits and share what I’m seeing along the way.
