This is the middle of Dubai's peak season. Barracuda, Trevally, Hamour, Emperor, Kingfish, Queenfish, and Cobia will all be biting.

Dubai's February fishery is on fire, allowing you to catch everything from Cobia and Emperor to Barracuda. Fishing in the morning or in the afternoon from 2–6 p.m. should yield the best results.

Cobia are starting to disappear, so your chances of catching this fish won't be good again until fall. However, Queenfish, Kingfish, Hamour, and many others are still biting hard.

While the high season has passed, fishing in Dubai remains solid in April. Barracuda, Emperor, and Trevally are still in the cards. Kingfish are an occasional catch as well, though with reduced success.

As we approach summer, the fishing opportunities start to diminish. If you happen to visit Dubai during May, however, there'll still be Barracuda, Queenfish, and Emperor to catch.

Most fish are scarce at this time of year. You can continue to count on Barracuda and Snapper, who are biting all year long, though. You may be able to target Hammour Grouper, as well.

The hottest weather you'll get in Dubai occurs during July, with an average high of 105°F (41°C) and low of 87°F (31°C) on the hottest day of the year. Most fish keep cool by retreating to the deep sea.

Fishing close to shore for Barracuda, Catfish, and Snapper is promising, as always. Offshore, the angling remains relatively slow, though you can expect things to begin improving as the month passes.

Fishing is starting to pick up, with the possibility of catching Emperor, Barracuda, and maybe even Cobia. Orange-spotted Trevally is also a solid target.

October marks the beginning of Dubai's fishing season again. Hamour, Kingfish, and Queenfish are beginning to bite, while you can still catch Barracuda, Snapper, and more.

The high season is in full swing! You can target Hamour, Emperor, Sultan Ibrahim, and Amberjack. Or troll for Cobia, Kingfish, Queenfish, and much more.

The height of fishing continues, with every species at your disposal. Many fish stay close to the surface during winter, which makes for excellent trolling opportunities.
