  Amazing trip from start to finish!

  Half Day Beach Trip on March 17, 2026 • 2 adults

  We had an absolutely brilliant fishing trip with Matthew in South Africa. He went above and beyond from the start—getting out early to catch fresh bait and even showing us how it’s done, which made the whole experience feel hands-on right away. We then headed to a stunning beach location where we managed to land a kob, and also hooked an amazing 5 to 6ft bronze whaler shark—unfortunately we lost it, but the adrenaline was unreal! Not long after, we hooked and successfully landed another shark, which made the trip even more memorable. Matthew is incredibly knowledgeable, clearly passionate about fishing, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that makes a massive difference. 10/10 trip—would 100% recommend and we’ll definitely be back to book with Matthew again!

  What a Fantastic day !

  We had two trips with Matt in the boat in the lagoon. The first by myself using live bait and prawns catching six different species including a large Garrick. What a day !. The second trip was again in the boat with my six year old grandson. Matt looked after him showing him how to catch prawns and live bait and then catch his first sternbass and stumpnose Thanks Again

  We had such a wonderful time with Matthew. He is fascinating and highly motivated. We had a beautiful white sand beach almost entirely to ourselves. We even caught a 1.5m shark and a lovely stingray 😊. We highly recommend this experience—it was easy, very well-organized, and a highlight of the Hermanus area 🙏.

  Matthew was very helpful and communicated really well with us. Unfortunatly the weather did not cooperate with us, or we would have loved to fish with Matthew. We plan to come back and will most definitely go fishing with Mathew again!
