Hi, I’m Matt — the guy you’ll find waist-deep in the surf. I’ve been fishing since I was a kid. With decades of hands-on experience spanning rock & surf, estuary, freshwater, offshore, and international trips, I bring unmatched passion and practical expertise to every outing.

I keep things simple and personal. We meet up, chat through conditions, and head out to the spots that are actually working — not the ones that look good on Google Maps. and I guide you through everything.

If you’re new to fishing, I’ve got you.
If you’ve been doing this for years, we’ll still find you something new.

Depending on season and conditions, we target:
kob/kabeljou, steenbras, galjoen, stumpnose, spotted gully sharks, smooth hounds, elf/shad, leervis/garrick, and more.

I take care of all the fishing gear and bait for the day — you don’t need to bring a thing unless you really want to. I only use top-quality bait, the same bait I trust for my own sessions, because good bait genuinely makes a difference out here.

I always encourage catch and release, especially with our key species, but if you land something that’s legal size and within your daily limit, you’re welcome to take it home.

All trips are shore-based and suitable for groups of up to 6 people.
