  2 Day Trip – Bimini Bahamas! on February 27, 2026 • 4 adults

  This trip was the longest trip of ours lives. Be prepared for no a/c, to eat sandwiches and hot dogs for 3 days straight. Make sure the company actually registers you all properly or you will get stuck in customs for 5 hours and lose a entire day of fishing. Just to be told it was customs fault. We'll that is not the story we got from the dock people. Apparently something was wrong with the vessel registration and we could have all gotten held in jail. Be warned they are not concerned with your safety when it comes to entering or leaving a foreign country. We were instructed multiple times to get off the boat by the charter company before we had our passports back or cleared customs. Then was told they would have to hold our passports until the end of the trip so they could check us back into the US. This was all a lie. The boat is older. The AC did not work and trying to ride in the back was like huffing diesel fumes. The Captin said this was his first trip to Bimini. Or his third. Depends on who asked him. Did not feel comfortable bringing to boat in at night and he thought international waters started 100 miles from the coast. So let's just say his knowledge was a bit lacking. Another huge safety concern. Which directly impacted the fishing. We hardly left the area around Bimini. We were the only charter boat within sight the entire 1 day we got to fish. We paid for 3. While nobody can make the fish bite.... you sure can find better spots. We had a depth finder but im not sure he knew how to actually look for fish. The food. Do not pay for the food and drinks. Just bring your own. For a VIP LUXURY private charter we were fed literal sandwiches and hotdogs they got at target or something. The snacks were bagged cheap cookies and individual servings of Doritos out of a box. Super high end stuff. Long story short we ended up spending roughly $18,000 all in for Friday to get stuck in customs and nearly go to jail. The captin was gone from the ship for like 4 hours. So no fishing on Friday except a half assed attempt to bring some of the group out for a "night time wahoo" experience that lasted maybe an hour and a half. Saturday I guess you could say we were fishing and eating disgusting hotdogs. Which we were supposed to stay out for extra hours on Saturday but the captin still brought the boat in right around 5. I was told I should have corrected him. Sorry im not paying this kind of money to have to eat cheap food, ride on a old no ac boat that smokes you out in diesel fumes and maybe going to jail. You were warned. We were offered a $700 refund for ours troubles after asking for a partial refund. To add insult to injury. They must be hurting for money badly.

  It's amazing how a air-conditioned unit goes down & the client decides on a a outrageous refund back & he threatens you, "OR ELSE" I will give you a bad review. We communicate with every client on lunch & breakfast. Kenny's response was, we will eat whatever. We purchase the best boars head meats, Publix freshly backed bread, as well as Bagels, cream cheese and freshly brewed coffee. Back to Kenny, if this trip was so bad why would he try to blackmail a full day refund for a decent review. Yes the AC went down, which is why we offered the $700.00 refund. Yes customs did take 3 hours & 45 minutes to clear us, due to computers being down & a mix up on the vessels Documentation paperwork, yes we went out the same day after customs & gave him an additional 2 hours that day of arrival. The next day we gave him an additional three hours. We did more than we could to accommodate this young man due to the AC being down. During the entire trip it seems he was just negative & argumentative with the Captain & crew. We have a sworn statement from Lead Bahamian Customs Officer, First Officer Sherman, quoting the computers were down. I wish Kenny the very best & may God Bless his Path in Life.
