Starting his fishing hobby as a young boy with his father and brother, it became a passion for him. He bought his first boat when he was 19 and fished Lake Michigan and the Saginaw Bay whenever he could. Although the boats have come and gone through the years, his love of fishing has remained steadfast. He bought his current boat, Dog Bone, in 2013 and has enjoyed fishing out of Manistee, MI ever since.
