we had a great experience with Capt Mike, he worked hard to make sure we had plenty of fish.  We had myself, wife, and 2 boys (11 and 14).  We all caught plenty including finding a grouper honey hole where each of us caught keepers!  We took home plenty of fish!  Mike is a great guy and I would highly recommend Jersey Keys and Capt Mike!

Capt. Quinn was a very honest and hard working captain. He told me on the way out that the bite was slow because of the water movement and the moon phase. He was right, the bite was slow but he worked his tail off keeping the 4 of us baited up, chumming and relocating to several wrecks and reefs. He got us set up on a couple AJ’s but we lost those battles. He took us to another reef and we caught 15 Yellow-tail Snappers. We could have caught our limit of 40 but he recommended only 15 for conservation reasons, which I totally agreed with. After that we went to another wreck and my son and I each caught a nice AJ. So 15 YTS and 2 AJ’s, and calm seas equaled a great day in my book. I look forward to another trip with him one day.

Hats off to Captain Quinn on the 26ft Jersey Key in Key Marathon Florida. I caught my first Tarpon (on my bucket list) within 5 minutes of anchoring, and the action never stopped. My wife, I believe, caught the biggest Tarpon (hated to admit that), but the captain kept us both engaged at all times. We landed four Tarpon, I think ten got off…that’s fishing. Also caught four lemon sharks. We had to drop anchor to chase down a monster shark for at least a mile and a half, either a bull or large lemon shark, but broke off after nearly 40 minutes of fighting. I thought it was awesome for him to film my fights when I handed him my ‘Go Pro’, now I have proof of my catches and no exaggerated fish tales. A trip I’ll always brag about and highly recommend.

We had actually booked 2 charters with Capt Mike but unfortunately he had serious boat issues the day we were scheduled for the first charter.  Due to the debacle, he kindly discounted our second outing, which is great customer service!
There was a front that moved in before we headed out, which ended up making the fishing difficult.  Capt Mike and first mate Miles worked hard to get us on some fish.  We moved to several locations and he was on the phone quite a bit investigating who in his network was getting fish and where the best water was.  We tried wreck fishing,  kite fishing and reef fishing on the full day trip.  We managed to pull in some nice Amber Jacks and a real big Mutton snapper on the wrecks and lots of yellowtail snapper on the reef. 
All in all we had a great time and got some nice fish!
Would definitely book again!

My wife and I did a half day afternoon with Captain Mike! Best fishing guided I’ve ever fished with. Mike foundctge fish all day and helped us set up and fish for multiple species!  We landed Lemon Shark, and then Snapper and Grouper pretty much all day!  He constantly adjusted our position and/or bait set up to get the fish on tge line!! 
Did a great job cleaning our catch. I highly recommend Mike as a guide!
