- Capt. Carlos runs trips out of Christiansted aboard 27' PR spider Center console. The crew will demonstrate techniques such as bottom fishing, spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, fly fishing, or something unique to the area. For special requests, such as kite fishing. Working with famed Marlin Captain Jim Estrada of Black Pearl they posted and amazing first season together with top charter boat in the 2015 Atlantic Blue Marlin Open. Early 2016, he moved over to a private tournament boat, Rukus, with Captain Jerry Emmanuel in the British Virgin Islands. Their third day together they posted first place and the win in the 2016 Scrub Island Invitational Daily. Later that year they racked another placement getting third in the 2016 Virgin Gorda Marlin Open. 2017 wins include 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in the Junior Angler Wahoo Jamboree in Virgin Gorda BVI. In a short 3 years Carlos had established himself as one for the best hands in the islands. Late 2017, he gets the opportunity in St John USVI to join Captain Joshua Bourg of World Class Anglers group fishing on a 36’ Carolina Classic. Ive then starting fishing for OTC charters in St.Croix fishing with wicked tuna star robert earl and outdoor personality host heather smith where we won 2 overall for the dames and dudes tournament, 1st 2nd day 1st calcautta winer. Ive then started my journey with Ocean surfari in **hidden content** adventures from 2023 till present. Would love to take you out on the water!
