There's a fish with your name on it in Christiansted and Top Shot Charters will help you catch it! With Captain Carlos at the helm, you'll have a knowledgeable and experienced guide.
Depending on conditions, you might hook into Yellowtail Snapper, Mutton Snapper, Tarpon, Bonefish, Gray Triggerfish, Red Grouper, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel (Kingfish), Sailfish, Great Barracuda, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and whatever else is biting.
During the trip you might be spinning, popping, trolling, drifting, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Carlos also offers kite fishing. For the more adventurous among you, there's spearfishing.
Top Shot Charters welcomes kids aboard, so feel free to make a family day out of it! Be sure to ask if child-sized life vests are available, otherwise you should bring your own. Snacks are also a good idea for a boost of energy when needed!
Your fishing machine for the day is a 27' center console with space for 4 passengers. It comes with downriggers, a 30 inch pedestal, and all the essentials. Your captain will provide rods and reels, as well as lures. Live bait is included, but you should ask the captain whether you'll be catching it yourself.
You will need to get a local fishing license before the trip. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect.
Don't forget to bring sunglasses, sunblock (non-spray), and a hat. There will be some drinks on offer, but let the captain know if you wish to bring your own. Alcohol is allowed in moderation, just avoid hard liquor as well as glass bottles.

He knew what he was doing and worked hard to keep us on the fish. He even took the time to help us find a restaurant that would cook the fish we caught, which we really appreciated. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. We had a great time and definitely plan go back and fish with him again someday. I would highly recommend him if you’re looking for a good fishing trip in St. Croix.

We caught some mahi mahi and had a really good day out on the water. Our guide was a great guy, very down to earth and easy to get along with.
