Captain Frank has been fishing his whole life. He used to go out on fishing trips with his dad, and the boat captains were pretty much his childhood heroes. That's what inspired him to become a captain. He loves making his clients happy and letting them see things he's been seeing his whole life. He had an older captain say to him once 'It's not the size of the fish, it's the size of the experience that matters.'

    sick trip

    6 Hour snapper - grouper (35 mi) • 6 adults

    sick trip awesome captain limited out on grouper and lane snapper. any questions we asked he answered.. i asked questions about his graph and he explained how it worked and some more details. kept all of us fishing and catching fish the whole tome well worth the money I’ll definitely go with him again 🤟🏻

    Amazing day with Captain Frank!

    6hr HOGFISH - snapper (20 mi) • 4 adults

    Our first time fishing the Gulf. Captain Frank was amazing. His knowledge and experience was great! There were four of us and we each caught fish! We caught such a variety and had so much fun! He put us right on the fish and we were able to reel in 3 groupers that we could keep and approximately 70 fish total! Would definitely recommend Skirt Chasers and plan on booking again for next year! Beyond 5 stars!!!

    10 Hr American Red Snapper/Grouper • 6 adults

    This was our first time with Skirtchaser Charters and fishing in the Gulf and I must say Captain Frank was awesome! He knows his stuff! We all caught a ton of fish and had a great time! We plan on doing this again next year. Thanks Cap!!

    Frank and his boat are amazing

    4 Hour - snapper ( pm) • 6 adults

    we had a great trip. Frank is very knowledgeable and was easy going with us even when we were making mistakes with our lines. We will be using him again and would highly recommend him to anyone looking to have a good time.

    Florida Fishing Trip

    4 Hour - snapper ( pm) • 5 adults

    First time fishing in the ocean, caught at least 8 different types of fish over 40 in total. Grandkids loved it, boat very clean, spacious and fast. Had a shark bite 3/4 of a grouper we reeled. Highly recommend this charter.

What's biting with Skirtchaser Charters – 36’ Yellowfin in Treasure Island

When it comes to bottom fishing, you can hit the wrecks and reefs and still come back with a load of fish. Deep sea fishing season is slowing down, but you're still able to catch Mahi Mahi and Tuna, as well as Wahoo and Sailfish.

WINTER SNAPPER BITE HEATING UP

The hogfish and grouper bite is heating up as the water is cooling down ; and ITS ONLY GETTING BETTER ! The 6 hr trip is where its at fishing 17-22 mi offshore on ledges and hard bottom . Shrimp is the chosen bait for the hogfish on light tackle . 20lb floro and hogfish jigs keeping that bait right on the bottom !

Grouper bite on our 6 and 8 hr trips are pretty much limit catches every trip ! The 4 hr snapper trips have been averaging 30-40 fish per trip !!
