We (family of 4, 2 and 2) had a nice afternoon trip out with Captain Jon on the Pole Cat. 
Hit 3 spots, caught a couple species of shark, and had a nice time all around.
Fishing is fishing, I think we pulled in 11 or 12 so everyone got a couple chances.  The Captain was knowledgeable, patient with the group, and took care of all the boating/fishing needs.  It was our first time out with him and I’d have no problem going out with him again. We enjoyed the trip.

We started our day uncertain if weather would hold out! Fortunately Jon was on top of it and let us know first thing! 4 of us went - myself, my wife, and our two boys. The boys jumped right in helping to get the bait fish on and asking a bunch of questions, Jon is fabulous with the kiddos!

Jon was very educated on all things boat, island, and water related!! And shared tidbits of info along the way. At first nothing was biting so luckily Captain Jon had another spot he like to go to and bam we immediately started hooking sharks!! He was well prepared and knew exactly what to do and how to direct us to catch those big boys! We caught sharks and it was interesting hearing and learning about the different species. We got to hold, kiss, and throwback our sharks and if we were uncomfortable in any way, Jon was again on top of it!!

Definitely booking with him in the future and can’t thank him enough for such a fun experience for my wife’s birthday and for our boys!! And when we got back to the dock the birds that were swarming were demanding to be paid so we even got to feed them too!!
