    Perfect Morning!

4 hour bay fishing trip5 adults

We went with Captain Hingle for a morning fishing trip. It was perfect! We all caught so many fish and had lots of keepers. Our bait was always fresh and the fish kept biting. We will definitely be booking again. The boat was the perfect set up for a great day of fishing. I will recommend Captain Hingle to everyone I know. Thank you Captain Hingle!

    Outstanding Galveston Bay Charter

6 Hour Bay fishing Trip3 adults

We came back with an amazing box of fish—sheepshead, black drum, and redfish—and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Captain Darrell Hingle was professional, personable, and had us on fish the entire morning. Every expectation was exceeded. Highly recommended.

Rain, Rain GO AWAY!!

Jun 5, 2026 • Galveston
Met the guys this morning at the boat ramp and after wIting out a pretty good shower we headed out. Stopped at first spot and no butes but kept us from running thru another rain. We fished 3 other spots, sun came out but it stayed windy. We caught trout, biggest was 25”, puppy drum and sand trout.

Dodging storms and managed a few fish

Jun 3, 2026 • Galveston
Met Dean and Clay at 6 a.m. and headed out into the bay. Lots of storms and wind bouncing around today. First 2 stops didnt produce anything. 3rd spot, pulled 1 16” trout off of it. Wasn’t long til we moved again. After a long ride we landed on a spot and caught our trout, a 19” redfish and a couple of puppy drum. It wasnt to vad of a day considering tough conditions.

Fast action at the jetties

Mar 26, 2026 • Galveston
Spent the day with Travis and crew in town from Michigan for work. We left the dock as day was breaking and made a quick run to the jetties. Wind was calm and incoming tide made for quick action. We caught aome really nice sheepheads, a couple of red drum and one small black drum. All were caught on freelined or just enough weight to keep it down in the water. By noon we had our limit and was time for lunch, final tally was 15 sheephead, 2 reds and 1 puppy drum.

Speckled trout action heating up!

May 18, 2025 • Galveston
Fished the last two days in some pretty breezy conditions. Found some protected shoreline on the outgoing tide and managed to put some good stringers of solid fish in the boat.

Hot spring time action in galveston bay!

Mar 31, 2025 • Galveston
Fishing is getting really good when the wind lets us get out. The giant black drum continue to do thier thing and 40-50 lb fish are not uncommon. Limits of sheepshead are going in the box from the rocks at the jetties and then scratching out speckled trout around the bay. Into april and may the trout action will only get better. Get your trip booked now!

Better late than never!

Oct 27, 2024 • Galveston
The giant red fish of fall have finally made a pretty solid showing this past week. The bite is better right around tide swings and you can get some solid fish. Fishing with fresh pogies and live piggy perch gets its done.
