Hingle's Guide Service
Hingle's Guide Service fishes the waters of Galveston, Texas. With its aquatic life, saltwater habitat, and outstanding angling opportunities, Galveston will make you want to always come back for more. We offer fun, beginner friendly trips on Galveston bay.
Enjoy your fishing trip with Captain Darrell Hingle aboard a 24 ft boat, which is powered by a 200 hp Suzuki engine. It can comfortably take up to five guests and is fully rigged with state-of-the-art navigational electronics, including a VHF radio, a fish finder and GPS
. It's also equipped with a livewell to keep the bait swimming.
Whether it's Redfish, Trout, Flounder, or Shark you're after – the Captain has all the knowledge and the equipment to get it done. He has been fishing the Galveston area since he was a child and knows all the hottest spots where the fish are hiding.
Each trip with Hingle's Guide Service comes inclusive with all the necessary fishing equipment to make a great catch possible, such as rods, reels, tackle, lures, and live bait. The Captain will also clean and fillet the catch for you to take home for dinner or just fill the freezer.
For your adventure in Galveston, you will only need to bring your fishing licenses, food, and drinks. For added convenience, Captain Darrell can also pick customers up from Crystal Beach and Port Bolivar.
Do we fish if it's raining or windy? Safety is a priority. If there are severe storms in the area or if the wind is out of control, I'll suggest we delay or try to reschedule the trip. There's no sense in going out and being uncomfortable, and I will never put us in danger. But if it's just a little rain, let's go – the fish are already wet!

We went with Captain Hingle for a morning fishing trip. It was perfect! We all caught so many fish and had lots of keepers. Our bait was always fresh and the fish kept biting. We will definitely be booking again. The boat was the perfect set up for a great day of fishing. I will recommend Captain Hingle to everyone I know. Thank you Captain Hingle!

thanks for the kind words Amber. i enjoyed having you guys on the boat this morning. I look forward to having ya’ll back. Oh, a spring that pulls the release on the trolling motor fell off. about a 5 minute fix once I got home. thanks again!

We came back with an amazing box of fish—sheepshead, black drum, and redfish—and couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Captain Darrell Hingle was professional, personable, and had us on fish the entire morning. Every expectation was exceeded. Highly recommended.

Thanks for the kind words. Glad y’all enjoyed the morning and hope you enjoy the tasty dinner it will turn into.
Regardless my dad had a sea sick and we had to shorten our trip to come back onshore, captain Darrell was great and comforted us. He was patient and have clear suggestions, and it was pleasure to talk with him. He also was proactive and contacted the booking service to adjust the trip from 6 to 4 hours, to refund us portion of the trip price. Really appreciate that. Definately will book next trip with him.

thanks for your kind words. I’m sorry he got sick. i enjoyed having you on the boat. Thanks again.
We caught a little bit of everything. Water was churned up but still put us on fush

thank you for the kind words and choosing Hingle’s Guide Service to run your trip.
Our half day trip with Capt Darrell was great. We caught our limit of trout and boated 8 species of fish including a stud Jack Crevelle. Capt worked hard to move us around to keep rods bent. Fun Day.

I’m glad ya’ll enjoyed the day. Thanks for choosing me to run your trip. I enjoyed having you guys on the boat. Thanks again, Darrell
