Captain Ivan first took us to catch live bait, then headed out to deep water where we trolled for Mahi. We ended up pulling a 20lb and 60lb fish in the boat. We then set up for Marlin and ended up hooking up to a nice Striped Marlin. He was good with teaching the couple novice anglers that were with me how to reel the fish in. Considering the time that we are here is less of a high season for fishing, Julio knew where to take us and we were never bored! Caught 2 giant rooster fish, red snapper, trigger fish, and quite a few jacks. He helped me (novice fisherwoman) get the basics down and my parter is a seasoned pro and he had the best time too. We booked another boat with La Shina for the next week too, would recommend them to anyone!!

has a great time even though it was pretty rough sea’s. caught 7 skipjack tuna, ( great fighter fish ) and one Mahi-mahi. only keep the Mahi-mahi. Captsin Jose was great, fished hard.

Jr. was our captain and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. We caught live bait first thing in the morning and then headed to the fishing grounds. We instantly hooked up to some nice sized yellow tails and continued catching for the rest of the trip.
