## Great Day on the Water with Wind Drift Charters!

We had a solid day out with Wind Drift Charters! Despite the elements fighting against us, the crew worked incredibly hard to make sure we had a successful trip.
### The Good:
* **The Catch:** We ended up bringing home **18 walleye**! We easily had several more on the hook that unfortunately got off right at the boat, so the action was definitely there.
* **The Crew:** The first mate was absolutely fantastic—attentive, quick, and kept things moving. The captain was highly professional, friendly, and clearly knew where the fish were hiding.
### The Not-So-Good:
* **Weather & Scheduling:** The only real downsides to the experience were some scheduling issues leading up to the trip and some rough weather on the day of. Mother Nature didn’t want to cooperate, which made things a bit challenging.
**Final Verdict:**
Even with the scheduling hiccups and choppy weather, the crew’s professionalism and the excellent catch rate made this a great charter. I’d definitely fish with Wind Drift again!

Despite less than perfect conditions and changing weather, Captain Doug and First Mate Ken found the fish and techniques needed to fill the cooler with several very nice fish. The were both very knowledgeable, friendly and GREAT with the kids. I will be recommending Windrift to all my fishing friends.

Both the captain and the 1st mate were so accommodating and helped all of us have a great experience on a hot day when the fish were not biting. They worked their tails off to find the right spot and the right bait. We all were able to catch at least 4 fish each and even the ones we did not keep were so fun to catch. We ended up catching 18 good sized Walleye and the best part is they cleaned and bagged them for us.These are very experienced fishermen and they are so kind and patient. I will very easily book this again when I’m in the area. I highly recommend!!

Doug and Ken were great and got us on some great sized Walleye and Perch!! We would highly recommend them if you are looking to fish Lake Huron!!

Captain Doug & his Crew took us on an adventure of a lifetime!!  27” WALLEYE was our biggest catch. We were expecting to catch a few….we caught 8 each!!! His crew explained everything simply & went above & beyond to ensure we were all enjoying the charter. After returning to shore, the Captain & Crew cleaned & bagged our fish. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! A 27 INCH WALLEYE!!!!  It was as WHOPPER!!!
