All I have to say is what a day and thank you to the both of you for the beautiful day of fishing I wish I could give captain McQueen and his first mate more that five stars they both worked there butts off to get us on the fish even calling other charters captains to see if they we’re having better luck with different set ups then we were using . The knowledge and experience between the both of them is just incredible they even took to time to explain the different lures and ways to set them up as we were asking question. We will definitely be booking another trip with them in the near future

The Windrift team were outstanding from every aspect.  The boat was very clean and organized, the tackle was in great shape and there are over 20 set ups ready to go.  Captain Doug and First Mate Ron were tremendous professionals.  Capt. Doug said that the fishing might be a little tough this time of year but said they would put us on fish.  Capt. Doug and FM Ron constantly conversed about locations and moving and FM Ron was continuously trying different versions of lures. Our trip ended with us limiting on the walleye and along the way we caught other fish, northern pike, drum, catfish, sheepshead and probably a couple of others.  I have chartered many times in my life but this was right up there with the very best of trips.  At the end as we were riding back to the marina I was asked what I thought about the day and my response was that I always look for three things most of all: communication once we booked from the captain, the willingness to hunt down the fish and the adaptability of the first mate to continually assess and try different lures.  All three of these items were outstanding.  My wife and I are recommending the Windrift and crew to the fullest extent as we booked another trip for next year while on board.  Happy Fishing.

Amazing trip!  Group of 5 went out, and even though the weather was a little off we still caught a good number of fish!  Captain Doug and Mate Ron went above and beyond trying to get us into the right spot through the choppy waves.  Both of these men are VERY knowledgeable in what they do and it definitely shows!  We are already planning another trip in the future and it will be with this one.  Highly recommend booking with Windrift; you will not regret it!!

Captain Doug and his first mate Ron provided excellent company and expertise on our trip. We caught fish, and they knew there way around the bay.

The ship was immaculate and comfortable four our group (3 adults and 1 child).  I would definitely hire this charter again, and would recommend them to anyone going out on Saginaw Bay.

Capt. Doug finds the fish and makes the whole experience exceptional! He and his first mate, Ron are two people that you definitely want to take a trip on the bay with, from the time you get to the dock, to the time when they fillet the catch for you, it’s a first rate experience! I will absolutely be taking future trips with them.
