Captain has been passionate about bass fishing since 2008, when he entered his first tournament with his dad and walked away with a win. That experience sparked a lifelong love for the sport, and he went on to spend the next 12 years fully immersed in competitive and recreational bass fishing.
With nearly two decades of experience on the water, he has built a strong understanding of bass behavior, seasonal patterns, productive techniques, and how to adapt to changing conditions. He enjoys working with anglers of all skill levels and is always happy to share the knowledge he has gained over the years. Whether you’re new to bass fishing or looking to sharpen your skills, he’ll do his best to make the trip both productive and enjoyable.

Half Day Trip (PM) SUMMER SPECIALThe fishing trip was top tier! The Captain provided everything from safety jackets to fishing poles of your desire and style. I consider myself a decent fisherman but you can tell Daniel is a professional. I did not expect the bite to be as good since it was peak summertime in Texas. It was three of us and we reeled in over 20 decent size bass! Majority over 3lbs and some close to 4lbs. This is hands down the best fresh water fishing experience I’ve had in the Austin area. Definitely booking again! Thank you for a great fishing experience Daniel!

Had the father son dup of Doug and Pierce out today! It was hot a fishing was a challeng but we boated a couple! Water is high 90’s to the low hundos! Fish are keyed hard on shad.

Lake Travis was GOOD today!

Was able to make it out to Lake Travis today and it was GOOD! Fish were hanging out around ledges and rock piles and eating that Ned Rig! Water temps in the high 80’s and a prefect fishing breeze kept it cool and the fish biting!

Recently flooded Lake Austin

After hard water releases from LCRA due to flooding that came with a lake ban, got back out on Lake Austin. Water temps cooled dramatically into the mid 70’s. Hydrilla looks like the temp may have shocked it a little, bit still very present. Caught some beautiful Guadalupe Bass. Ned rig did the most damage.

Fayette Country Reservoir

I was blessed to share the day on Fayette County Reservoir with Dave and Ledger. The bite was slow but we still managed a few! Water temps were HOT, well over 100 in the plant discharge and high 80’s in the cooler parts. This lake is LOADED with shad! A shakey head worm did best.

Lake was rolling with mild sustained winds and cloud cover all morning, intermittent rain showers. Water ranging from 83 in the lake to 107 in the discharge canal. Fishing was not easy, but managed some big ones! Lipless and chatterbaits got it done.

Lake Bastrop always comes through!

Started this morning around 10 A.M. just graphing and mapping. I found a couple points mid depth and caught a couple. The wind picked up and I went to the wind blown reeds and caught the rest. Flipping, Chatterbait and a worm. Water temps were high 80’s to low 90’s. Wind about 15 mph. Partly cloudy skies. Stained water.
