We had a great experience from the start! We got great communication from Marc, who reached out immediately to confirm our trip and ask about our preferred snacks, which were all on board when we arrived. They were ready to go when we arrived and the captain made sure my son could do some fly fishing along with jigging and trolling. We caught some beautiful rainbow bass and jaguar bass. Even though it rained the whole trip Captain Marc and Mate Irwin took excellent care of us. Checked in with us the day prior to ensure the food and beverage selections suited our tastes, gave easy directions, fished multiple ways, and caught a variety of fish. Fishing Lake Arenal with Captain Marc was like owning a private Lake. We were the only boat in sight fishing on this 33 mile long lake. No problems trolling and worrying about other fishing vessels. We caught fish within minutes of our first troll. My wife caught the first and largest of nearly 7 pounds, we caught a good amount of fish of different species. Amazing location for a fishing trip. Captain Marc was very helpful with our transportation. The trip is probably best suited to anglers with some experience lake fishing as there was limited teaching during the trip. Marc offered sodas and allowed us to keep fish with free preparation of the fish if we wanted which was great! Good day out fishing.
