The weather may be a bit colder, but the fishing can be red hot. Head offshore to battle it out with a range of Snappers, or hit the bays and get your fill of delicious Redfish and Trout to take home.&nbsp;

It's still a little cold for the pelagics to pass by, but there's plenty of options on the reefs and in the bays. Try bottom fishing wherever you go and land anything from Trout and Redfish to Snapper and Amberjack.&nbsp;

You&#39;ll sense a flurry of activity in Destin as the weather begins to warm up. The fishing season starts to kick off with plenty of Cobia making the journey to the reefs, while bay fishing remains as good as before.

You&#39;ll know the season has arrived Destin when April strikes. Cobia fishing is at its peak and the Harbor Docks Tournament attracts anglers from all over the world looking to land that monster reef fish.

While the Cobia frenzy may be dying down, may brings with it the start of the offshore season. Head out to the deep waters for up to days on end and try trolling for pelagics or bottom fish for Groupers.&nbsp;

Summer takes Destin by storm and you'll want to book early to avoid disappointment. Come and combine your thrilling fishing adventure with the chance to kick back on the beach&nbsp;&ndash; this is what you work for!

Get ready to dodge the sun, as temperatures in Destin reach the high 90s. Red Snapper season kicks off, meaning you'll want to head offshore, but you can always take advantage of the Tarpon bite with night fishing.

High season continues throughout August, with offshore fishing for pelagics still offering extreme anglers the chance of that trophy catch. Head offshore, to the reefs, or even inshore, and land any of Destin's prized fish.

As the crowds start to die down, there's no sign of the fishing going anywhere. The weather is still warm, so you should take advantage of this time of year, when Tuna and Sailfish come close to shore.&nbsp;

Three words: Destin Fishing Rodeo. Over 30,000 anglers come to town over the whole month of October with a competition to suit all kinds of angler. Come and test your skills to be in with the chance of a top prize.

Fishing in Destin has to cool down at some point&nbsp;&ndash;&nbsp;but not in November! Make the most of the end of the pelagic season, while bay and bottom fishing is still on fire. Fill your boat to fill the freezer for the holidays!&nbsp;

Temperatures are usually in the fifties in Destin in December, but that shouldn't stop you from coming here! Grab a festive fish feast in the bay or by bottom fishing along the reefs and catching your own dinner.
