Thank you Captain Jay.  EXACTLY what I needed at a challenging time in my life.  Absolutely loved the airboat ride.  So cool.  Got my limit on reds and a coveted black drum. Captain Jay is very knowledgeable about fishing and makes your trip relaxing and comfortable. THANKS again Captain Jay.

I grew up never being a fan of bay fishing due to having some bad experiences with Captains being rude and giving half ass efforts while on the water. Five years ago or so, some friends convinced my wife and I to go fishing with them in Rockport with this Captain they always raved about, Capt. Jay Nichols.  It was all over after he put me on my first Red.  I have gone out with Jay numerous times over the years and have had a blast every trip.  Even when it’s slow, you will not see many Captains work as hard as he does to try to put his clients on the fish.  Remember, it’s fishing, not catching, there are THOSE days, but still worth being on the boat who makes you feel like a friend rather than a client.  The selfish part of me didn’t want to write a review cause I go last minute fishing quite often and don’t want him to be completely booked, lol, but he deserves it.  Book with Capt. Jay, you won’t regret it!

Captain Jay was awesome.  He put us on Reds and gave us lots of constructive tips.  He never got frustrated and showed us a great time on the water.  I would highly recommend a fishing trip with Captain Jay.  He is the the best fish cleaner I have seen.

On time and ready. Trip interrupted by weather but after returning to dock for 2-3 hours Jay had us back on the fish for several hours. That bent rod location was great. It’s on the map. Great trip let’s do it again. Thanks
