Half Day Trip (AM) • 4 adultsM wife, her sister and husband and I wanted to go to Rockport and fish, but the trip was planned kind of late and a couple of the guides that we had used in the past were already booked. In a desperate move - because I didn't want to pass up the opportunity - I Googled how to find a fishing guide in Rockport, TX and was directed to the FishingBooker ap. Gave it a try and found Reef Rat - Michael Martinez. We took a chance and booked a trip with Michael and couldn't have been more pleased. We were supposed to meet him at 6 am and when we got there he was ready to go and we wasted no time getting out on the water. He put us on four different spots during our half day of fishing and we caught fish at every one of them, almost reaching our limit on speckled trout. Michael was very quick to keep fresh bait on hooks and our group being somewhat less experienced at bay fishing he offered a lot of help coaching us up on techniques - and it really worked. Everyone caught at least one keeper and the wives actually surpassed the husbands on catches on this day. When we go back we will call Michael first ahead of the other guides we have used before.

Half Day Trip (PM) • 4 adultsMike's knowledge of the bay and ability to find fish is outstanding, we wanted to get away from the crowds and Mike knew exactly where to go to stay on the fish and get away from other boats. Mike is extremely friendly, patient, and fun to talk to and fish with. I highly recommend Mike as a bay fishing guide!
