His passion and enthusiasm towards fishing have led him to start his own charter and make a serious career out of the sport. He passed the Coast Guard Exam in 1986 and soon after founded Fishy Business LLC. Since then, Capt. Rick has been featured in several local newspapers, including the Bradenton and Sarasota Heralds, and the Tampa Tribune. He has also written articles for Florida and Saltwater Sportsman magazines and has been featured in several TV shows, including Reel Animals, Hooked on Fishing, and Your Guide to Fishing. Each year, Captain Rick participates in Wounded Warrior events and is avid about giving back to his community. He is an excellent guide and patient teacher who loves meeting new people and enjoys showing others the true joy of saltwater fishing!
