Background
I have been fishing since I was 3 years old, and it has been my passion for as long as I can remember. Sharing that passion with others and helping create lifelong memories on the water has always been a dream of mine. I have been fishing the Waccasassa area for over 20 years and have developed a deep appreciation for its incredible fishery and the unique beauty of Florida's Nature Coast. From Redfish and Trout to Cobia and Tripletail, these waters offer some truly outstanding fishing opportunities. One of the most rewarding parts of this profession is the people I get to meet. Over the years, I've had the privilege of fishing with anglers from all walks of life and have made many lasting friendships along the way. Whether you're an experienced angler or stepping onto a boat for the first time, my goal is to provide a fun, safe, and memorable experience on the water.
Techniques
Redfish – Redfish are one of our favorite species to target. We fish them using live bait, fresh cut bait, and shrimp, depending on the conditions and what the fish are feeding on. Speckled Trout – We use a variety of techniques to consistently catch trout, including fishing artificial lures under popping corks, working jigs along the bottom, and using live bait when the bite calls for it. Tripletail – Tripletail are often found holding around crab trap buoys, channel markers, and other structure. We target these unique fish by sight fishing and presenting live shrimp naturally in their strike zone. Cobia – Cobia provide an exciting opportunity for anglers. We sight fish for them when conditions are right, or target them around nearshore structure using live bait. These powerful fish are known for their hard fights and are always a welcome catch.
