After working as a first mate for a while, he decided to become a captain and run his own trips, and it's the best decision he's ever made. Capt. Brian loves showing beginner anglers and kids how to fish, and nothing makes him happier than seeing the excitement on their faces when they hook their first catch.

    We had a great time fishing. The chosen are a lot of fun to catch and plenty of fish. The captain and first mate did a great job putting us on the fish and taking care of our needs.

    Great fishing trip

    Early Morning Bite 6hr (AM) • 3 adults

    Capt Griffin and crew were exceptional in providing a wonderful fishing experience. They were relentless in their pursuit of the hot spots to allow us great opportunities to catch some fish. We came away with a great haul. Thank you so much for a great experience on Lake Michigan. Would highly recommend him!!

    August fishing trip

    Mid Day Bite 6hr (PM) • 5 adults • 2 children

    Captain Brian and his First mate (Jack) did an amazing job guiding our family. Both are very good with helping kids and adults experience salmon fishing. We caught a mixed bag of fish (kings, Coho and steelhead) on an afternoon trip today. I'd recommend Brian for anyone wanting to go with a charter and/with kids learning how to fish.

    We booked the day before because we were looking for something to kill the time. Got out on the water and had an amazing time with friends, chatting with the crew, and catching fish! Very informative throughout the trip. We had a great time!

    The Captain and first mate were super nice and very knowledgable. Had a blast and caught a ton of fish. The boat/cabin is very comfortable and clean as well. Best Lake Michigan charter I’ve been on.

Kenosha is wrapping up its season, but you'll still be able to cast a line. Cohos, Lakers, and Brownies are available. King Salmon fishing is excellent on the lake this time of year, and Steelhead bite pretty steadily.

We’re off to a great start, this was out first charter of the 2025 season! The fish are here thick, come get in on the action. April, May, and June are great months to introduce young anglers and first timers to Lake Michigan. Plenty of action.

The “Griffin” set out Saturday, April 20th at 6:00 AM for the first charter of the season. We only had to take a 5 minute boat ride before we set up. Watching the Sonar and seagulls diving, we knew this was the right spot! The fish were kind enough to let us get all 14 lines set before the first bite. After the first 17 inch coho was put in the cooler, it was a steady pace of 2 - 3 fish coming in all morning. May 1st 2022 AM & PM (6 Hour) Charters

May 1, 2022 • Kenosha
2022 has started out with a BANG! Fishing has been nothing less than absolutely fantastic from North Point Marina, Winthrop Harbor IL, and we're just getting started. Conditions have lined up perfectly for shoreline Coho fishing. There is a distinct color change in water between the shoreline & 30 feet of water, and the feeding salmon slide in and out of the stained water to feed on 5-6 inch spawning Alewives. It's fair to say that 99% of our catch is being caught 1 - 5 feet under the surface.
