- Background
- I have been fishing my entire life. I started on the tributaries of Lake Ontario when I was 12 years old. I remember watching the charter boats leave Sandy Creek harbor and thinking that would be the coolest job in the world. At the age of 18 I purchased my first boat and started fishing the Great Lakes. I have fished Lakes Erie and Ontario for over 25 years. I teach in the winter and while working on my Administrative degree I realized I would never be happy working in a school but outside of the classroom. So I shifted gears and with the support of my beautiful wife, I earned my Captain's License and started doing charters. Now I continue to teach Science through the school year and spend my summers on the waters of Lake Ontario hunting down and catching King Salmon.
