It may be the smallest of the Great Lakes, but Lake Ontario's fishing is second to none. Step aboard Reel Adventures Sport Fishing and see for yourself.

Captain Tom Pearse is a local fishing nut. Fishing since the age of 12, he always wanted to run fishing charters. Now living the dream, he combines his winter teaching job with running charters in summer. He can't wait to welcome you aboard to learn all about Great Lakes fishing.

The 36' Tiara boat is the ideal vessel to navigate these waters. Strong and sturdy, she also boasts plenty of room for up to 6 anglers. Fitted with a cabin, you'll also have use of a kitchen and toilet, so you'll have nothing to worry about when on board. Capt. Tom will provide free water and snacks, but feel free to bring anything else you may want during your day out.

Built with fishing in mind, the boat also boasts outriggers and downriggers. You'll spend your day trolling the open waters of Lake Ontario up to 30 miles offshore. Hit these deep spots of the lake and battle it out with some prized fish.

Coho and Chinook Salmon rub shoulders with Steelhead and Lake Trout. These delicious creatures will do all they can to get off the end of your line. Get ready for an intense battle to hook 'em aboard – the rewards will be more than worthwhile!

At the end of your trip, the captain will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home with you. All you need to do to make the most of these stunning waters is grab your NY freshwater fishing license and hop aboard. Reel Adventures Sport Fishing is waiting to take you away!

Excellent trip and great catch!
Half Day Trip (AM) on August 16, 20263 adults

Capt Tom and his crew were amazing. We were a group of 4, all new to fishing, who had the best time! Tom waited for the best time to leave the harbor which we appreciated given the wind conditions. He made sure we all got our share of King, Coho and steelhead! we loved the experience ! will repeat this again with him no doubt!

Great day on the lake
Full Day Trip on August 5, 20232 adults

Captain Tom and his first mate,Will worked very hard to help us reach our limit today. We started out with choppy waters , northeast winds and little action but patience and persistence paid off and we caught our last 2 as we were heading back to the dock.. They did everything to make our trip comfortable and and an added bonus we were part of a You Tube video as Wills father recorded our experience today. So much fun and such a great crew. Definitely recommend Reel Adventure sport fishing to anyone and will definitely book with Captain Thomas Pearse again. Thanks for everything guys!

Rainbow Trout (Steelhead)
Chinook Salmon

I have been fishing my entire life. I started on the tributaries of Lake Ontario when I was 12 years old. I remember watching the charter boats leave Sandy Creek harbor and thinking that would be the coolest job in the world. At the age of 18 I purchased my first boat and started fishing the Great Lakes. I have fished Lakes Erie and Ontario for over 25 years. I teach in the winter and while working on my Administrative degree I realized I would never be happy working in a school but outside of the classroom. So I shifted gears and with the support of my beautiful wife, I earned my Captain's License and started doing charters. Now I continue to teach Science through the school year and spend my summers on the waters of Lake Ontario hunting down and catching King Salmon.
