Captain Leo Alvarez was born in Las Tunas, Cuba and grew ip in Northeast USA. Leo's fishing repertoire includes the waters of Florida, Belmar, Long Island, and Atlantic Highlands to name a few. He moved to Tenerife in 1972 and has become one of the pioneers of big game fishing. Before Leo started charter fishing in Tenerife in the early nineties, he mastered the waters in and around Puerto Colon and got the Tenerife record for Blue Marlin (1001 lbs).

Half Day Trip - Shared • 4 adultsA Beautiful day at sea with Delphine, pilotwhales and a turtle. Unfortunately no fish in tur hook. However Leo and his helping hand was doing all in their power to find the tuna that was in the area. Only challenge was the lack of english by tur deckshand and perhaps Some storytelling about the waters we were sailing in, the fish coming three and the abundance of bait fish attracting both tuna an a wide variety of whales. There ære Some grait stories to be told. Summing up, fishing is a lottery - you never know if you will catch anything and what. However in tur waters between Tenerife and Gomora there is an abundance og whales and amazing nature that is breathtaking. Better Luck next time. We will be back.
