Captain Elick Hernandez and his crew were awaesome. It was a windy day so we were unable to go out deep into the ocean as expected. But they were able to locate where we would catch fish, and we all did. Afterward they brought us to a local restaurant where our fish was cooked!! It was sooooo good!! We would definetly recommend !!

We’ve been fishing before but never deep sea, Thai was hands down by far the best experience we could ask for! Eli and Arturo were awesome! We caught multiple fish, played instruments, listened to music and danced. Great experience, and I’ll go again!

The first & second mates were very friendly.  We didn’t catch anything for the first couple hours but then landed some big Barracuda & Kingfish which my kids had a lot of fun reeling in.  We finished our charter with some snorkeling near shore.  It was a great 5 hours out on the water, perfect weather, water was like glass no other boats around.  It’s when we got back to shore that things got weird.  When settling up with the Captain, I explained I put $160 down with Fishing Booker leaving a balance of $640, which he agreed, then I asked if 20% was an acceptable tip, which he said 20% is a good tip, so I gave him $800 cash for a total of $960.  When the first mate took us to a local to clean our fish, he made a comment to my wife about only tipping the mates $40 each, which she vehemently denied stating I tipped them $160.  The mate then got on the phone with the Captain arguing about money to the point he’s shoving his phone in my face asking me to lay out exactly what I paid.  I was really tired at this point, it was nearly 1pm, I’d been up since 5am & shelled out nearly $1000 to give my family a great experience, I paid everyone fairly & really should not have to deal with this kind of unprofessional crap.  Which is why the headline reads great but weird and why I only left 3 out of 5 stars.
