Yesterday we went out with captain Jorge and his crew with @majo fishing lodge. They were wonderful and I look forward to booking with them again in the future. Even thought tge weather conditions were not in our favor. They didn’t stop and I even caught a sailfish. I give the. A 10 out of10. If you are looking for an incredible crew to take you fishing give them a shout.

We did the near shore excursion. We got two albacore fish, and a half-dozen good-size Spanish mackerel. We had grilled spinach mackerel which was delicious, the skipper’s mate cooked one of our fish on the boat and served wonderful Ceviche.
It was a great crew, friendly, and worked hard. There was some difficulty with language, but it worked out. I would highly recommend them!

There were 3 couples in our group. We booked a 6-hour fun fishing trip with Majo and we are so glad we did!!! In fact, we wished we’d booked the longer fishing trip we were having so much fun!! We had an absolute blast!! The boat was clean and in excellent working order, including the bathroom!! The crew was great!! The deck-hand especially!! We ended up with 1-yellowfin, 2-bonitas, 1-Mahi and 2-sailfish(released). The deck-hand made fresh sashimi from the yellowfin and let me tell you…..IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SASHIMI I’VE EVER HAD!!! Absolutely DIVINE!!! That was the icing on the cake for me!!! My husband and I are already talking about making a special trip to Panamá and doing a fishing charter with Majo!!! Book with Majo, you won’t regret it!!

**Deep Sea Sportfishing Adventure - A Review**

From the moment we set out on our deep-sea sportfishing adventure, it was clear that this trip would be unlike any other. The highlight of our excursion was undoubtedly the expertise of our captain. A true aficionado of the deep blue, he showcased a wealth of knowledge that only years of experience can bestow.

Not only was he well-versed in the behaviors and habitats of the marine life we sought, but his techniques were a marvel to witness. With an almost uncanny intuition, he knew precisely where to drop our lines, adjusting to the currents and water temperatures with finesse. It wasn’t just about dropping a baited hook and waiting; he employed a series of maneuvers, lures, and even sound techniques that seemed to charm the fish right onto our lines.

Every moment was a learning experience, as he generously shared tidbits of wisdom, unraveling the mysteries of the aquatic world beneath us. It was evident that his methods were results-driven, as our group saw more bites and catches than any previous trips I’ve been on.

We had a great day of fishing with Captain Jorge and first mate from Majo Fishing Lodge. We were on our way out quickly after arriving at the marina. On our way out Captain Jorge was getting all of the bait and put together which was interesting to watch. Once we were approximately 20 miles out lines we dropped and we were fishing. The winds had changed direction and moved the warmer areas of water where the fish were, but we still found them and caught dinner to take home. We trolled all day and were approximately forty miles out by the end. They also cleaned and filleted the fish we got to keep before we headed back in. The boat had great music playing throughout the day and were both very professional and friendly to work with. Any time there was a bite on the line, they immediately started pulling up all the other lines and got ready to get the catch onto the boat. We caught tuna and sailfish while we were out and saw a Mahi Mahi but it never took the bate. Captain Jorge brought along a GoPro and captured every fish that was caught through the day as well as the scenery and dolphins that we saw. Was a great way to spend the day and would book with them again without hesitation.
