Come explore the beautiful and fish-rich waters of Panama and create lifelong memories together with Majo Fishing Lodge! Starting out of San Carlos, you'll embark on a journey to chase prized fish, try out various techniques, and enjoy gorgeous nature. The captain is a seasoned angler who's got all that it takes to make your trip successful. Join him aboard and have lots of fun fishing!
The boat you'll use is a restored 39' Stamas motor yacht that can fit 10 guests. Its twin 485 HP Yanmar engines along with the comprehensive navigation electronics will quickly and safely take you to the fish. The boat's got a flybridge, kitchen, toilet, shower, as well as beds. Its amenities include air-conditioning, a TV, multimedia system, wireless trolling motor, refrigerator, and an ice-box. As for the fishing gear, the boat uses a fighting chair, live well, outriggers, downriggers, spearfishing and snorkeling gear, as well as tuna tubes.
On your trip, you'll target Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Black and Blue Marlin, as well as Sailfish. With many fishing techniques at your disposal, you can deep sea fish, jig, fly fish, spearfish, and many more. If you want, you can keep the fish you catch.
The captain will provide you with a cooler, water, ice, BBQ equipment, as well as all the fishing equipment. As he also covers you for licenses, catch cleaning, there's nothing you should bring aboard.

They were wonderful and I look forward to booking with them again in the future. Even thought tge weather conditions were not in our favor. They didn't stop and I even caught a sailfish. I give the. A 10 out of10. If you are looking for an incredible crew to take you fishing give them a shout.

Majo definitely has a good reputation and there instagram shows. Im not to sure what happened today very disappointing hopefully theres something we can workout in the future. I had very high expectation today. we ended up coming back with two bonito.

6 Hours Trip – Fun Fishing on October 10, 2023There were 3 couples in our group. We booked a 6-hour fun fishing trip with Majo and we are so glad we did!!! In fact, we wished we’d booked the longer fishing trip we were having so much fun!! We had an absolute blast!! The boat was clean and in excellent working order, including the bathroom!! The crew was great!! The deck-hand especially!! We ended up with 1-yellowfin, 2-bonitas, 1-Mahi and 2-sailfish(released). The deck-hand made fresh sashimi from the yellowfin and let me tell you…..IT WAS THE ABSOLUTE BEST SASHIMI I’VE EVER HAD!!! Absolutely DIVINE!!! That was the icing on the cake for me!!! My husband and I are already talking about making a special trip to Panamá and doing a fishing charter with Majo!!! Book with Majo, you won’t regret it!!

Not sure when the fish are here but it isn't in late January as my research showed. We have fished everywhere from Hawaii to Africa and everywhere in between and always caught fish. The crew worked hard but no fish.

Special 8 hour trip for Timothy Cooper on February 14, 2022 • 8 adultsBoat was nice. Captain and first mate were quiet but nice. Trolled for hours. No one changing lures. Zero live bait. Even when we caught fish, took a while to go back thru same area near the islands. Ultimately caught 7 Spanish Mackeral and 3 Albacore, so not bad, but not exciting either. Also, was hit with 7% up charge on trip for taxes because I didn’t pay cash. This coast well over $100 using credit card to pay balance. Consider this a major issue with fishing booker.com. This should have been made very clear. Lastly, to be clear, we still tipped 20% on this trip so this is an honest review. Will not likely use fishing booker again since there was not any apparent notification that we would be responsible for additional tax if we paid the balance via credit card.

Than u sir, we waiting for you for your next trip, we recomend to you for Pelagics and Billfish May to November, the top it's June, July, agust,September, October. January to April it's bottom fishing time, for the weather changes, and the cold water for the windy season, so the best months it's Febrary , march and part of April but in April start to change to raining season, and in may start to entrance yellowfin tuna, big mahis; + June start to entrance a big cardumes of sailfish + July entrance blue marlin and black marlin , all thease to aprox 15 Dec, and start to go down and disappear. This is how it works in the Gulf of Panama. In another areas in Panama like Coiba and Piñas Bay the season it's different. So when if you want catch Pelagics with us in January to June we offer Piñas for min 3days. You are welcome here always, we are here to serve u and we want to wait you for your return.
