Morning Fishing Trip 6hr • 2 adultsMy friend and I had a great time fishing on a charter boat in Lousiana the first time! Fishing here is completely different than NY. It was a fun time targeting Red Fish, they were very agressive even the small ones. With the knowledge with Capt. Kevin, he put us on some fish and knew his areas. He was verg helpful giving us key points on good spots to cast and its condtions/techinques on catching Redfish. Overall, we really had a pleasant time catching a wide variety of species such as Red Fish, Black Drum, Catfish, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead. I would 1000% come back again to fish in the Lousiana waters

Evening fishing trip • 4 adults • 1 childGreat experience. My first fishing charter ever and it did not dissapoint. We hit some spots and as soon as they died down we moved until we were on more fish. Whole time everything was easy and worry free. Just fish and bring them in the boat. The captin was very helpful especially for my little sister who is 9. He taught her and helped her the whole way though and let her fight the big ones too. 10/10 would do it again and fully recommend to anyone.

Evening fishing trip • 2 adults • 1 childCaptain Ryan is truly a saint. He has patience and is an all around good guy. Today my five year old son went on his first fishing trip and was able to reel in a 24 inch redfish, 3 other red fish, a couple drum and a speckle trout. He also was able to “drive” the boat while Captain Ryan had us trolling, “swim” after his 100th request and drop an item overboard and fish it out. All this while Captain Ryan remained composed and caring towards him. I would recommend him to anyone looking to fish out of Lafitte.

Morning Fishing Trip 6hr • 2 adults • 1 child10/10 experience! My 11-year-old son and I had an amazing time. We caught our limit of speckled trout, and it was my son’s very first fishing trip. He had an absolute blast and hasn’t stopped talking about it. The captain was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and great with my son. He made the trip fun while making sure we were set up for a successful day on the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better first fishing experience. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back!

Evening fishing trip • 2 adultsRyan brought us out on a short run and put us on a hot spot of Black drum immediately. 2 limits in under an hour! Then we went looking for Reds and found them also. Had some realy nice ones ,kept 4. He let me fish a few different techniques and gave me some pointers to hone my skills. The boat was very well equipped with really nice tackle and bait. I would recommend fishing with Ryan to any anyone. Thanks Ryan. Excellent trip.

If you want to fish for speckled trout, this is the month to do it. The fish are plentiful with lots of action. Trout fishing is great for smaller kids as the amount of action will keep them entertained for hours, not to mention all the dolphins you will see.
