Reel Cajun Fishing 

My friend and I had a great time fishing on a charter boat in Lousiana the first time! Fishing here is completely different than NY. It was a fun time targeting Red Fish, they were very agressive even the small ones. With the knowledge with Capt. Kevin, he put us on some fish and knew his areas. He was verg helpful giving us key points on good spots to cast and its condtions/techinques on catching Redfish. Overall, we really had a pleasant time catching a wide variety of species such as Red Fish, Black Drum, Catfish, Speckled Trout, and Sheepshead. I would 1000% come back again to fish in the Lousiana waters

Great experience. My first fishing charter ever and it did not dissapoint. We hit some spots and as soon as they died down we moved until we were on more fish. Whole time everything was easy and worry free. Just fish and bring them in the boat. The captin was very helpful especially for my little sister who is 9. He taught her and helped her the whole way though and let her fight the big ones too. 10/10 would do it again and fully recommend to anyone.

10/10 experience! My 11-year-old son and I had an amazing time. We caught our limit of speckled trout, and it was my son’s very first fishing trip. He had an absolute blast and hasn’t stopped talking about it. The captain was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and great with my son. He made the trip fun while making sure we were set up for a successful day on the water. We couldn’t have asked for a better first fishing experience. Highly recommend, we’ll definitely be back!

Our captain Mitch had us on fish as soon as we arrived at our spot! Black drum, Red drum even caught a flounder! Mitch was very knowledgeable having grown up in the area and the boat was top notch! Would highly recommend him and Reel Cajun fishing! Tip: uber will get u there but we had to take a taxi back.

Ryan brought us out on a short run and put us on a hot spot of Black drum immediately. 2 limits in under an hour! Then we went looking for Reds and found them also. Had some realy nice ones ,kept 4. He let me fish a few different techniques and gave me some pointers to hone my skills. The boat was very well equipped with really nice tackle and bait. I would recommend fishing with Ryan to any anyone. Thanks Ryan. Excellent trip.

Fished in the morning with Captain Christian targetting speckled trout and in the afternoon with Captain Ryan for redfish. Both wonderful and friendly captains and it was enjoyable spending the time with them. The fishing was enjoyable, apparently the bite was (relatively) slow, but I was very happy and impressed with the fish I was able to catch. The full day trip was great as I was able to target numerous species, catching most fish from trout to red fish but also some sheepshead and black drum at the end to just add to my species list. Would highly recommend to any fisherman looking for a easy trip from New Orleans or around.

Captain Ryan Vincent is very knowledgeable about the waters. I was there during the beginning of February after the cold snap where many fish died off. I wanted to bring my fly rod to try out and he was okay with it. It was a bit slow at first but after hopping to a spot or two he got us on some fish! The main thing i wanted to chase was a bull redfish. He was straightforward and told me that the conditions weren't the best for Bulls during this time of year. I appreciated the honesty because anyone can say I know a spot then you end up disappointed. In this case toward the end of our trip I got hooked on a 27 1/2 inch bull red and caught the fish i was hunting! Captain Ryan was cool, patient, and answered all my questions. I was late for the trip and even cut it short because of scheduling . He made sure we caught fish immediately and made it a fun time. We caught every fish we wanted plus with his skill case of knowing and signaling out the fish.

Captain Matt was great. It was a hard day of fishing but he worked hard to endgame us home with filets in the cooler Andhra we ended up with several black drum and my wife landed a really nice red. I would recommend to anyone wanting to fish that part of the country.

Had an amazing day with Captain Chris and the Reel Cajun crew and made some life long memories with my son and one of my best friends who traveled all the way down from Indiana. Chris got us on fish immediately and we hammered the Sheepshead until Chris couldn’t get the box closed. Pulled in some hogs today and stuffed the freezer. Thanks to Captain Ryan and Captain Chris and the Reel Cajun Charters team for giving us an amazing day. Can’t wait to come back.
