Background: I've been an avid fisherman since childhood, and I have over 20 years of experience in inshore and offshore fishing, as well as on the Great Lakes. I started running trips 4 years ago when I acquired my 50-Ton Master Captain's License. I enjoy meeting people and getting them hooked up on fishing! My favorite catches include Blackfish, Fluke, Black Seabass, and anything else willing to take the bait.
Techniques: Trolling is my specialty along with bottom fishing.

Managed to get out in the fog this morning and found some really big fish. After the outgoing tide was running hard, the fish turned on near some large schools of bait.

Limited on keepers!!

Great to to see you guys again. Had tough conditions to deal with after the rain and the front moved through. Bass moved out of the area, not much we could do about that, but search the entire bay. Mostly bad reports that morning.

Great day on the water. Our group of 4 caught about 6 fish (fluke, Black Sea Bass) but none of fish were keepers…. off by 1/2 inch on 2 of them….. but not from lack of effort t by the Captain. Steve tried his best. Even kept us out 20 mins longer when we hit some action

I had the opportunity to take a half day charter with Captain Steve April 18th. We met exactly as planned. The boat was exactly as advertised giving us the chance to get out of the weather. Most importantly Captain Steve knew what he was doing! Very knowable about the area and put us on fish. I will definitely charter with Hook & Fin again.
