Just got back from one of the best fishing trips I’ve ever been on, and I had to share the experience! From start to finish, everything was top-notch — the crew was knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure we had a great time on the water.
The boat was clean, spacious, and well-equipped.

The Crew spoke both Spanish and English. My Wife and I Met Captain Carlos and first mate Jesus at the ROSA DEL MAR II boat at 6am. Got our food, drinks, live bait and headed out by 6:30am. My wife caught the bigger SkipJack Tuna and me the baby one, within 10-15 min after leaving the Marina and headed out towards the West Pacific side where 1.5 hrs later, we limited out (8) Mahi Mahi by 8:15am. Because of The crew getting us our early Limits, we were able to spend more quality time fishing for Marlins, Sailfish and Yellowtails.  I landed a 70 lb Sailfish within last 30 minutes of our 5 hr Charter. The Bottom line is this, THE ROSA DEL MAR II, OUT-FISHED every boat that came in from what we saw and heard from the guys who clean, fillet and take photos of the fish. My wife caught biggest Mahi Mahi and it was a Blue one that later changed colors. We 100 % recommend this boat and crew. ..

Carlos and the crew were excellent. On time, friendly and hard working.  Caught a marlin within 20 minutes of leaving the marina but I lost it at the boat (my own fault).

Hooked onto a huge striped marlin at the end of the day and fought it for an hour. Biggest fish of my life, couldn’t be happier. The crew is experienced and knows where the fish are.

Had a great time on the water with Carlos and Jesus. It was a tough fishing day and the water was rough, but the crew worked hard to try and put us on fish the entire time. Some days they just aren’t biting and I get that.

We managed to come away with a decent sized Sierra that we had cooked at Captain Tony’s, which was delicious. At the end of the trip, we got a visit on the boat from Pancho, a local sea lion, who stopped for a treat of leftover bait fish.

Carlos and his 2 guys did a great job making us feel comfortable!! One of his Deck hands also named Carlos spoke perfect English and was able to help my boys!! We left out at 6:15 am and by 6:30 we were fighting a Marlin!! So awesome I would highly recommend Carlos!! Looking forward to going out with him again!!
