Third time with Tim , will book again , we caught limit

Had a wonderful time. Tim took his time to guide us and didnt feel rushed. I would definitely recommend ny friends to him next time.

Arrived to the Dock at 6AM after getting up at 4:30AM and driving 70 miles to the dock. There were 5 men on this fishing trip. Captain Tim pulls up to the boat dock in a little 20ft center console. I did not know Captain Tim at the time and told the guys dont worry thats not are boat. Well, Captain Tim walks up the dock and says hey, Im Tim and are you ready to go fishing? I said, Captain Tim, where is the boat that I booked? Its a much bigger and friendly boat especially for 5 men. Captain Tim said, oh, my motor broke down and I have been sick with Covid the last 3 days. I said, Captain Tim, I booked this trip because of the bigger friendly boat. If I knew this was the boat we were going to use, I would of not booked with you. Captain Tim said, well, you can call off the trip and not go. If we did not get up at 4:30am and drive 70 miles we would of cancelled if we would of received a phone call telling us the big boat we booked is broke down we would of re scheduled with him or booked a different trip.. He dropped the ball on this trip.. With that said, his friend who he brought to the dock took us out and tried his best and 5 men caught 5 striper, and 3 of them were less than 8 inches big. lol.. It was a tough day on the water and fishing was terrible but not the Captain of our boats fault… The Captain who Captain Tim set us up with did his best but the fish were not biting. .

Tim was very nice and great with the kids. We didn’t catch that many fish but it just could have been the wrong time of year.  We did catch a few 10 & 12 pounders which was fun and then smaller ones.  Tim mainly stayed in one area close to his marina which was a little disappointing.  I would have liked to have gone to other parts of the lake like we were seeing all the other fishing boats do.
