    Great day with two pro’s

    Two person private trip • 2 adults

    Captain Nelson and his son Joey are not only pros at finding fish, but seamlessly work together to get bait in the water, and fish out of water. After about 10 “shakers”, we caught 4 keepers, to include a 10 lb fish. A huge bonus was Captain Nelson expertly filleted the fish. They were also great company and the trip went super quick. I’d definitely choose them again!

    Great day on the Delta

    Two person private trip • 2 adults

    Captain Nelson and his Son, Jonathon were both very patient and laid back. My son and I were first timers on the Delta and had a great time catching about 20 fish. I would recommend this charter to anyone especially less experienced fishermen due to the crew’s laid back nature. Thanks again for a great day fishing guys!

    We highly recommend Captain Nelson. He and Nate Matt gave us a superb trip. We had our limit of stripers before 10 AM. They were very helpful and fun to be with.

    Full Day - Delta

    Full Day Trip – 4 People Special • 4 adults

    I have been using FishingBooker for many years. All great experiences but Nelson and his son are something special. They were very patient and informative. They were not just focussed on catching fish but willing to spend time before leaving the dock to talk about technique and education of the tackle. He also was generous and offering to be there for questions I may have when I go fishing by myself. Super high recommendation and would say if you want to catch Striped Bass in the California Delta invest in a day with Nathan. Incidentally we caught 15 striped bass that day.

Fishing has really picked up for us. We expect fishing to remain great all the way into May. We will be fishing like tackle and using live bait to target striper.

Striped bass and sturgeon season!!

As we roll into the month of December we have been fishing for striped bass and sturgeon. We're doing really well fishing for striper with live bait. Our last trip we had limits of striper in the morning and spent the afternoon fishing for sturgeon. Sturgeon fishing is picking up as more and more fish moving to the system with the new rainfall. Now is a good time to Target either species in clients can choose between the two or do a combo trip.

This week we have been targeting striped bass primarily and sturgeon. Our last trip we found excellent striper fishing with limits by 10:00 in the morning and we spent the second half of our day looking for sturgeon. Month of December is a great time to drift mudsuckers for striper or throw fresh bait for big sturgeon.
