Captain Rod Walline runs Cool Breeze out of Garrison Bight in Key West. He holds a U.S. Coast Guard Master license and has spent years fishing the reefs, wrecks, and blue water off the Keys. Cool Breeze is operated by Tight Lines Legacy LLC, a veteran-owned company: one boat, one captain, and up to six guests at a time. Rod would rather put you on fish than talk about it.     One of My Best Fishing Days Ever

    I fish with a guide about a dozen times per year, every year, and Capt. Rod Walline is now one of my favorite guides ever. I said I hoped for a variety of fish species and plenty of action, and boy did he deliver. I caught two bonnethead sharks, 2 hardhead catfish, a tomtate, a mutton snapper, a yellowtail snapper (supper), and a lane snapper. Capt. Rod stayed out beyond the expiration of my time so I could catch the third snapper species and qualify for Fla. Game & Fish's "Grand Slam" of snappers. I'll be back, Rod.
