Cool Breeze is operated by Tight Lines Legacy LLC, a veteran-owned company offering private trips for up to six guests. With one boat, one captain, and your crew for the day, each trip is built around what you want to catch. Tell Rod your target, and he’ll plan the day around it and the conditions.
Choose a 4hr, 6hr, or 8hr trip targeting Mahi Mahi, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Yellowtail Snapper, Lane Snapper, Grouper, and other seasonal species. Rods, reels, tackle, bait, ice, a live baitwell, and fishing licenses are included. Just bring your food, drinks, and sunscreen.
Every fishing trip can be filmed from the bridge and transom. Add the Highlight Reel for $50, and we’ll turn the best moments of your day into a short video delivered directly to your phone.

I said I hoped for a variety of fish species and plenty of action, and boy did he deliver. I caught two bonnethead sharks, 2 hardhead catfish, a tomtate, a mutton snapper, a yellowtail snapper (supper), and a lane snapper. Capt. Rod stayed out beyond the expiration of my time so I could catch the third snapper species and qualify for Fla. Game & Fish's "Grand Slam" of snappers. I'll be back, Rod.

I've fished in Key West before but have never reeled in such a variety of fish in a single charter like we did on Cool Breeze! We pulled in 3 different species of Mackerel - King, Spanish and Cero; Yellow Tail Snapper, and even a Blue Fish! Will definitely be back on board next time I visit the island, could not recommend this charter and the captain enough!

The morning I had with him was smooth and he was able to maximize our time fishing out on the water. Caught so many different species of fish while with him, and at the end of it all was able to get it fileted and taken home for dinner. A marvelous experience overall, I highly recommend!
