I've always enjoyed fishing, ever since I was young. I've spent my summers growing up on Lake Erie, and I was on the water whenever I had the chance. Over the years, I've perfected my angling skills and techniques and decided to turn my passion into a full-time job, which is how Crooked Creek Charters came to be. I love spending time outdoors, and teaching people how to fish. I take very good care of my boat and all the fishing equipment so that I can provide my anglers with the best fishing experience.

Full Day Trip – Walleye • 4 adults • 2 childrencapt. spotted us and met us at our vehicle and introduced himself. we loaded up and wasted no time getting underway. left the dock at 6:35 and my yougest son boated the first fish at 6:55am. the capt. Ted put us on the fish quick and stayed on them. we had 5 people fishing and the capt. had our 30 fish walleye limit by 10:30am and that was after letting a few smaller fish go and losing a few including an over 30 inches that we lost at the back of the boat. we did have roughly 10 sheepshead that we threw back also and 1 white bass. we had a fantasic time and will be booking Capt. Ted again if he will have us. Thanks again Sir for the conversation and the excellent fishing

Evening Trip – Walleye • 4 adultsMy wife and two sons never fished on Lake Erie before. I always heard it was the walleye capital of the world, now it is confirmed! Our guide Ted, was amazing. This guy knows his stuff. He called me around noon to let us know that it was rough waters and asked if we would rather reschedule for another day, but we said we would like to go anyway. I'm glad we did. It was choppy at first, but calmed down throughout the trip. We had several lines out trolling, which I've ever experienced. We all limited out on walleye an even caught a few unwanted drum. We had great music and just an overall blast. I have a feeling that we will be booking another trip sometime in the future. Dont hesitate on this trip with Crooked Creek!

Evening Trip – Walleye • 4 adults • 2 childrenWe had a great trip with Captain Race. We caught our limit on Walleye and also caught a few Sheephead and White Bass. Our boys (11 and 13) were engaged the whole trip and enjoyed every minute. Captain Race explained everything we did and showed the boys some awesome techniques for handling fish. Captain Race cleaned and fileted the fish for us. He gave us a recommendation for a local restaurant for dinner - which was awesome too. We had a great time and would definitely book with him again.

Special 7 hours trip for Jon C. Roethlisberger • 2 adultsI had a great time fishing with Captain Ted on the Plum Naked. From the moment we stepped aboard, he was professional, welcoming, and well-prepared. Captain Ted put us right on the fish, and I caught six walleye, all large enough to keep, in less than 90 minutes. The boat was clean, comfortable, and top-of-the-line. I highly recommend Captain Ted to both beginners and seasoned anglers. We'll definitely be back!

Half day walleye trip • 3 adults • 1 childTook my son and grandson on a walleye charter today with Captain Ted. My grandson caught his limit of wlleye and was smilng from ear to ear. The weather started to unexpectedly turn ugly. Our captain wisely got us off the lake ahead of the storm. I would recommend a walleye charter with Ted whether you are a beginner or experienced angler.

These guys fished like pros! Limits and threw some back for next time. Sunday night 50 feet of water it was just us and the PC Queen out there. If your looking for some great fishing book with us or any of the other professional captains in Conneaut Ohio you wont be disappointed.

One last fishing trip in the Gulf Stream

Erin and I had an incredible night fishing. Flat calm seas, dolphins, and one more sunset on the water. The refugee boats passengers were all safe, the orange paint says it was checked by the Coast Guard they do an incredible job out there. I couldnt help but be grateful for our country and our freedom ??
