    A Memorable Fishing Trip in Freeport, Maine

    4 Hour Trip (AM) • 4 adults

    We booked a 4-hour striper fishing charter with SeaWalker Excursions and Captain Corey in Freeport, Maine, for my son and nephew. The fishing was a little slow, but we ended up landing a beautiful 31-inch striper that absolutely made my nephew’s vacation! Captain Corey worked hard to keep us on the fish and made the trip enjoyable from start to finish. We’d definitely book another trip with him the next time we’re in the area.

    Fishing with Corey

    2 Hour Trip – Mackerel • 2 adults

    It couldn’t have been a more spectacular day to be on the water. Corey was friendly and knowledgable. We opted for more sightseeing than fishing which was lovely. We did catch fish and could have fished for more , but Corey did a great job as tour guide explaining the history of some of the many islands, the oyster farms and really lovely “special” little passageways. Looking forward to our next trip with Corey.

    Captain Corey was incredible, my hisband was able to have an amazing catch on Father’s Day. We caught a bunch of Mackerel as well! Captain Corey was incredible with our daughter and she loved every minute of our fishing trip, as did we!

    Captain Corey was a great host. He knew where to go to give us the beat chances for a successful time. Caught lots of fish, including huge Strippers. Is perfect for families and anglers of all experiences.

Fun day in the bay!

Jul 17, 2026 • Freeport
Goid time today, Rick and Jackson got one heck oc a tour of the bay today. We loaded up on macks and headed for the outer islands, deeped water while the tide raised up. We had a few spots, but nothing produced.. We had inshore hit a couple more spots and after three hours, we still have plenty of Max in live well but no signs of stripers. I decided to go to a different end of the bay and as we were heading to one spot, I noticed some birds crashing out of the corner of my eye at another spot that I like. We zipped over and Sure enough Jackson landed the first one a nice 33 inch followed by a 31 and 32. Rick and Jackson were double hooked and after I let Jackson’s fish go, I went over that’s how I was holding the leader on Rick’s his went away, so I told him he got credit for the cash, but he didn’t get the glory of the picture. Never givd up keep hitting your spots the gish are here somewhere!

The bite has been hot! This past week we hit a bunch of big fish. The heat pushes them down so youre better off booking annearly am trip for more consistent catches.

Big stripers running!

Fishing had been pretty good lover the weekend. Today I chased birds over boiling water which i havent seen in a long tome in Casco Bay. All fish caught were over 30”.

Tough early season again.

First couple weekends have been tough. Once sgain the spawning numbers have been down and the arrival of predominantly 30”+ fish is the result. Been a few years since we’ve seen 50 fish days playing with schoolies in the bay. That said, macks are in there’s a few big fish around. There is a very good possibility of getting skunked on stripers. The fish we caught have been worth the risk though. Give a shout for ideas and tight lines!
