Seawalker Excursions invites you on a day of awesome fishing from beautiful Casco Bay in Maine. Captain Corey Walker has an intimate knowledge of this fishery and will ensure you have a fun time on the water. He runs a family-operation, so be sure to bring the rest of the family along and make some memories together.

You’ll be fishing from his 22’ Sea Pro center console that runs on a 200 HP Suzuki engine. The The boat is great for 4 people. We can bring upt to 6 but it’s doesn’t fit 6 large people well. There is a 1250 lbs maximum capacity.

That said, this boat has everything you’ll need for a productive and fun day on the water.

As for the fishing itself, this is prime Striper territory. Your trip will start with catching some Mackerel for bait, before moving on to the Striped Bass themselves. Trips are open from mid-May until mid-October, which is when the local fishery really shines. Fly fishing is also an option, but you’ll need to bring your own fly gear if that’s what you want to do.

All the necessary conventional fishing gear is included in the price of the trip, along with catch cleaning services afterward. All you need to do is make sure you dress in layers and bring any drinks or snacks you’d like to have with you. Seawalker Excursions looks forward to welcoming you aboard for an angling adventure!

Note: Boat capacity is 6 persons but it fishes 4 people best. There is a 1250 lbs maximum capacity. The boat does not fit 6 large people well and doesn’t go through the water well if over loaded. Please contact me prior to booking a group of 6.

2 Hour Trip – Mackerel on June 18, 2024

Three generations of ‘men’ (two years old to 70), out for a midday run to catch mackerel (eventually becoming bait) and stripers. Cap’n Corey knew his stuff and all the right places to drop a line. Great collection of gear and lots of room on a terrific boat. As a biology teacher, the skipper also knew a thing or two about the flora and fauna; we saw dolphins, seals, eagles, and osprey. All in all a fantastic couple of hours on a stunning blue day; the lobster rolls on shore were just the perfect dessert.

3 Hour Trip (PM) on July 11, 2024

We had a super time on the water with Capt Corey! My sister and I (both NON-fishers) took our 92 year old mom (legendary fisherman!) on a girls trip to coastal Maine—so we had to get her out on the water. By great good fortune we picked Capt. Corey—he made our afternoon trip a delight. Much to our “old salt” mama’s consternation we out-fished her—but no matter—she was in her element and we had a blast. Thank you so much Capt Corey—we will be back!

Thank you for coming out and for the nice review. It really was a pleasure to have the three of you on the boat, and we didn’t even need the bucket, lol! Thanks again. Cheers, Capt. Corey

3 Hour Trip (PM) on August 2, 2024

Captain Corey did a great job for my family. We had a lot of fun catching mackerel. It was fun jigging and catching 6 at a time! My son claims he caught 30 of them ;) The captain knew the right places to fish and we landed a nice 29" keeper. The captain cleaned and filleted our fish and we ate it at a near-bye state park. Couldn't have been a better day, my recommendation to others for a trip with Captain Corey.

So I booked a 3 hour trip with Corey and it was one of the best fishing trips ever. Corey did an amazing job at navigating the water and knew all the spots where to go. In the 3 hours we managed to get 20 or so mackerel and 12-13 stripped bass. I would highly recommend that you book your future fishing trip with Captain Corey. 5 stars all the way around.

Captain Corey Walker has a long history of fishing. In his words, he "grew up in Maine, spend my winters teaching and thinking about fishing. Spend my summers fishing and not thinking about teaching." As a Maine local, he knows quite a bit about the local fisheries and is always ready to share his knowledge with any curious guests.
