It’s everything I wanted out of a fishing experience and more. Sam knew everything about the fish and was a pleasure to talk to. Even if we didn’t get fish the charter was great and the sights were beautiful. We managed to catch a huge amount of fish all thanks to Sam, he got out bright and early to scope out everything for us and get us bait, he works incredibly hard for his craft. I think this would be the only charter service I would ever use down here. Thanks again, Sam.

Ocean fishing was something me and my wife had been wanting to do for a long time, and Captain Sam Newman made it an awesome experience! Ryan and I went fishing with Captain Sam in Tampa Bay. It turned out to be one of our best charter fishing trips ever. Captain Sam is very experienced. He knows where to go, how to adjust fishing strategy and location based pressure and water temperature. Ryan and I had so much fun. This was all of our first time on a charter fishing trip, and we picked the perfect captain to host it. Two things to highlight about Sam. 1. The dude knows where the fish are. 2. He was SO patient with our 5 year old son and made sure he got the first catch of the day. So he’s great with the kids. We caught about 18 fish in 2 hours (results may vary), and he even filet’d the ones we kept and taught us how to store them. We will be calling him again.

The captain was down to earth, easy to talk to, very skilled and knowledgeable. He would not rest until we caught something and we enjoyed the entire experience. Just make sure you listen to his instructions and you will have a great time. His kindness and graciousness towards the end of our trip as well will always be appreciated. First time in Tampa and definitely not the last! We’d like to fish with him again.
