Deep sea fishing in the Keys was on my bucketlist. Grateful to Captain Justin and his assistant, Emmitt, for making it a memorable trip. The waves were a little high but Captain Justin did what he could to make it as manageable as possible—appreciated that. We ended the day with 11 yellowtail snapper, two of which we went to a local restaurant (Lazy Lobster) to have cooked. Overall, a fun day with memories to share in the future.

I vacationed in Key Largo and wanted to take my 12 year old son fishing. Many charters available, and I reviewed many, and finally selected Captain Justin and All Hanns on Deck for a short 4 hour trip. Primarily because it was a smaller boat which I figured would be best for us, good reviews, along with it being a catamaran type boat for smoother ride. Side note - Not smooth enough for my wife who was “chumming the water” as soon as we dropped anchor. Told her to get some dramamine but she’s stubborn. She hung in there and the fishing began. We caught many fish, Barracuda, Yellow Tail Snapper, and Mutton Snapper. All were the biggest fish my son had ever caught. He’ll never forget this trip. Captain Justin and mate Alex are very experienced, personable and knowledgeable. They knew just about everything there is to know about fishing in Key Largo area and were very willing to share. We caught some and missed some, and had a wonderful time. I highly recommend Captain Justin and All Hanns on Deck and the next time I’m in area, I’ll be booking another trip.

My two boys and I recently took a half-day morning trip with Captain Hanns and his first mate Alex. The weather wasn’t ideal and the seas were a little rough but the captain still managed to put us on fish. We were able to land runners, yellow tails and a big black grouper. My boys had never been deep sea fishing before, but Captain Hanns and first mate Alex were patient and very knowledgeable. They managed to make it a great experience even though Mother Nature was against us. The boat was in good condition and had all the necessary gear. I have no complaints about the trip. I will definitely go again this summer and I may even try one of the tuna trips in the winter. I do recommend this trip to new and experienced anglers alike.

We had a great trip with Justin and hooked two very large (6-7’) sharks just feet off shore from where his boat is docked. We had been in rough water earlier in the day on another charter and we were very glad this area was much calmer.  It was just us and Justin but he managed the boat, the lines and people just fine. He kept 4 lines out trying to hook-up. He is focused on getting set-up when you first get out, which makes you think he is quiet, but the more you get him talking the more he opens up. He is local so he knows the area vs someone working seasonally.  He was patient with both boys and walked them through how to reel in the sharks. When it got quiet and we were waiting for sharks, he setup small rods to keep us occupied pulling up small fish from the bottom.
The hull of the boat has plenty of room to move around and it is designed to rock less on the water. Think pontoon vs center console in how it moves on the water. There is cover for shade/wind. Hooking a tarpon would have been fun but what a memory for my boys, both getting to reel in a 7’ shark each.
We would book with Justin again if we make it back down to the Keys!

Didn’t have any luck catching fish but the captain and mate were great. They tried really hard to put us on some fish just didn’t happen
They were just as bummed as we were they kept us out an hour extra until it was really dark trying to put us on the fish
Though we got stumped I would recommend all hands on deck
And I’ll book them again when we come back
